Plums! 02/02/2010
Bring on the plums! Here are some pics of the first line of the pattern for my soon (I hope soon) to be too charming plum sweater. The switching of colors leads to much twisted yarn, but at this point I still feel like it is worth it. The original was meant to be cherries, but I think this color scheme of plums better suits my needs. Just so we can all marvel at what I shall have soon, here is a pic of the original. I'm practicing this pose every day in the mirror just to be ready... CommentsMom 02/03/2010 09:53

I think the change to plums from droopy cherries was a good one. Also, the color palette is soothing and well-chosen.

I think I will call you Needles from now on, my dear. I cannot tell you how impressed I am with your blog and your work. You are so talented! And your attention to detail and demand for perfection with your creations is truly amazing. I'll bet you have been accused of being (k)nit-picky before.. ha-ha. I'd love to see some of your work in person some time. Have you thought of opening your own business with this? or maybe you already have done so. I'm anxious to follow your work and progress. Carry on, Vicki
